Join us for an evening of discussion with Pat McCabe, author, and creator of the excellent Brendan Behan exhibition at MoLi , The Holy Hour: a requiem for Brendan Behan.



Enjoy some tunes from Phillip O’Toole and poetry and prose synonymous with the famous Behan family.


Patrick McCabe was born in Clones co. Monaghan in 1955. He has many novels published including The Dead School and The Butcher Boy. Movies include The Butcher Boy and Breakfast on Pluto, both directed by Neil Jordan. He is currently performing his ‘analogue monlogue’ series here and there about the place. He is married with two grown-up children, to the artist Margot Quinn and is a member of Aosdana.



Roslyn Hickey has worked in education for over forty years. She regards lifelong education as a tool fro empowerment, personal growth, pleasure and as a stimulant to pursue further study. Roslyn's particular interest in in making literary works of cultural significance accessible to enthusiasts.
