Family Fun Day: Mary Poppins Kite Workshop (12.30pm session)

This popular Mary Poppins literacy workshop looks into the creation of Mary Poppins from the author PL Travers. It includes reading time looking at some of the most famous scenes from the book and watching the scenes on video clips. A Mary Poppins workshop would not be complete without a sing-a -long of Lets go fly a kite. Also included are take away Mary Poppins word searches and much much more in this 60-minute packed kite workshop. Fancy dress is optional.

The second half of the workshop you will trace, colour, build and learn how to fly your special Mary Poppins kite - which really does fly. You will design and colour in your kite from hundreds of templates available and at the end of the workshop take your kite home to fly high into the sky which will look majestic!
