DateSaturday October 21st
VenueDodder Walk
Admission€20
Time 12pm

Meet at the entrance to the Dodder Valley Park (Playground entrance) opposite the Speaker Connolly.

Join Feebee Foran of Forager.ie for a gorgeous foraging walk through Firhouse and along the Dodder. Take a step back in time and take a fun glimpse at what life was like in Tallaght throughout the ages as we walk, forage and have the craic. Learn some fun facts about the history of the surrounding areas, featuring some great but almost forgotten stories and folklore. Discover and deep dive the wild herbs that grow in abundance along the Dodder, with tips on plant identification, understanding their uses, their lore and why they are so important to us. Touch, taste (if you wish) and learn how to forage in a way that both utilizes and protects nature.

Plus, take your interest in foraging to the next level and enjoy a taste of nature, with a delicious, specially curated lunch from Teegan's Treats featuring locally foraged wild herbs and plants. Think Nettle muffins, Wild Foraged Leaf & Flower Salad, Cleaver Crackers with local Dublin Hills Goats Cheese - all complimented with locally sourced ingredients from artisan food producers right here on our doorstep.
