Join Sinéad Cuddihy as she speaks to PEN/Hemingway Award finalist, Booker Prize Longlist and author of one of Barak Obama’s favourite books of the year C Pam Zhang about her life, career and her new book Land of Milk and Honey.



Born in Beijing, C Pam Zhang is mostly an artifact of the United States. She is the author of How Much of These Hills Is Gold, longlisted for the Booker Prize, a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway Award, and one of Barack Obama's favourite books of the year. Zhang's writing appears in Best American Short Stories, The Cut, McSweeney's Quarterly, The New Yorker, and The New York Times. She is a National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 Honoree.



Sinéad Cuddihy is the founder of Tired Mammy Book Club, an Instagram based book club. She set up Tired Mammy Book Club after her first child was born to get back reading and to build a community of mothers and others who had fallen out of the habit of reading. Sinéad has built a community of over 11,000 followers and coined the hashtag #TiredMammy30minutes to encourage members to make time to read every day.



Sinéad has facilitated interviews with several Irish authors, such as Andrea Mara, Jamie O’Connell, Catherine Ryan Howard, and Sophie White; and authors Fíona Scarlett, Dolen Perkins-Valdez and Deirdre Finnerty have joined Tired Mammy Book Club discussions. She has been invited as a guest on the following podcasts: Good Luck with the Book, the International Literature Festival Dublin podcast, and Another Chapter podcast. She also featured in a piece, in the Irish Independent, titled ‘Meet The Bookstagrammers’.
