Fiona is an expert in empowering mental fitness through positive psychology and neuroplastic change using hypnotherapy, NLP and CBT. Dublin, Fiona is a two-times best-selling author, the mental health expert on Today FM (Dermot & Dave Show), a TEDx speaker and appears regularly in the mainstream media where she is an ambassador for positive thinking and wellbeing. Building on her success, in 2016 Fiona launched her online, five-star rated, hypnotherapy program, ‘The Positive Habit,’ which now helps people from all over the world. Her first book (2019) is the Irish Times and Eason's bestseller, The Positive Habit, published by Ireland’s leading non-fiction publishers, Gill Books. Her most recent book, The Self-Love Habit, was published in February 2021 and hit the best-seller list straight away. Her latest online course, Light Up Your World was launched in April 2022 and is taken directly from her clinical work. It is a truly transformative programme based on cutting-edge and up-to-date research in the areas of hypnosis, positive psychology, lifestyle medicine, neuroscience, and mindfulness.
In 2022 Fiona completed her Professional Diploma in Positive Health from the Royal College of Surgeons. To date, Fiona has trained in positive neuroplasticity with the eminent neuropsychologist, Dr. Rick Hanson, has a Higher Diploma in Theatre & Performance from UCD and a Higher Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis awarded by Clinical Hypnosis Ireland. She has studied Positive Psychology with The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She holds a Professional Certificate in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness from the Institute of Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy.
