Pól Ó Conghaile is Travel Editor with The Irish Independent and a regular contributor to National Geographic Traveller. He has been named Travel Writer of the Year in both the UK and Ireland. He has been published all over the world, and as a travel expert features regularly on national TV & radio, including RTE's Tracks & Trails, and The Pat Kenny Show on Newstalk. Pól is the author of Secret Dublin: An Unusual Guide (Jonglez) and a speaker at travel, media and food events, including the National Geographic Traveller masterclasses. Fionn Davenport is one of Ireland’s best-known travel writers and broadcasters. He’s written guidebooks for Lonely Planet covering multiple destinations – from his native country to Vietnam - for over 20 years.
He’s been a fixture on radio for much of that time, hosting a popular travel advice slot on Newstalk 106 and RTE Radio 1, where he also presented Inside Culture, the designated arts & culture programme. He served as travel editor of the Irish Times, and his writing can be found in a host of publications, including The Irish Times, Irish Independent, The Examiner, The Guardian, The Times and The Daily Telegraph as well as a host of other publications.
Fionn relocated to the UK in 2016, where he has worked with both regional and national tourist organisations in consultative and advisory roles, including Visit Plymouth, Cumbria Tourism and Visit England.
In 2020 he was appointed Group Editor of Ireland’s Travel Trade News, which led to his relocation back to Ireland. In January 2021 he joined Forsman & Bodenfors Dublin as Managing Editor.
Lifestyle and travel influencer Nadia El Ferdaoussi is Dublin native with a passion for travel content, bringing her Instagram followers along for the ride across Ireland and beyond.
Nadia has spent the last decade working in the travel industry across print media writing for Irish newspapers and magazines and appearing on TV and radio to talk all things travel. In the last couple of years Nadia has moved into the travel and fitness space hosting expeditions to Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp and hosting her own fitness camp in Spain, always keeping ahead of emerging travel trends.
