Weave Time at North Clondalkin Library

As part of our Red Line Festival 2024 The Liberties Weavers are bringing Weave Time to North Clondalkin Library. This will be a fantastic afternoon of local history and weaving combining history and practical hands-on weaving skills.  All participants will receive a full kit which includes all the material they need to make a bookmark.  During the session, they will hear all about the history of Textiles in the Liberties

The aim of The Liberties Weavers is to breathe new life into the 1000 years of history, weaving and textile production in the Liberties.  They do this through organising weaving classes, community-based workshops, exhibitions and historical lectures.
